About

This site was started in september of 2006 as a place for me to write extremely short first person narratives, like this. Since then I’ve just used it as a place to write and post stories of varying length and form.

That’s all there really is to it.

Oh, and the header image is a cropped version of a photograph by Layabeatle, a talented artist I found at deviantart

I’ve given Flash Fiction a shot or two but find it very difficult. You could be something like a master.

These are good, in my humble opinion. Entertaining and pretty convincing. I dunno if theyre meant to be funny at all, but I found many to be. Maybe its only because your upfront about them being fiction? Much better writing than in some books I’ve [sadly] read.

OK well this one [http://thethingswethink.wordpress.com/2006/12/03/this-is-the-part-that-breaks-my-heart/] isn’t really ‘funny’…

You write wonderful little stories! “Wicca,” was very funny, and the “Fantasyland,” punchline was very clever. “This is the part that breaks my heart,” was touching. I’m glad *somebody* writes this kind of very short fiction. I love my copy of Kafka’s really short stuff but I can never find any other fiction of similar length. Thanks! I hope you keep it up!

I’ve been reading your stories since near enough when you first started this blog and I don’t think I’ve left a comment yet – sorry!

Out of all the feeds I subscribe to, yours is the one I’ve come to look forward to most. Fantastic little stories, some of which have left me amazed.

Hope the ideas keep coming and you keep posting :)
